KINGSBURY COMPANIES RECOGNIZED FOR CONCORD WATER PUMPING STATION PROJECT

The City of Concord, NH worked with Kingsbury Companies LLC to replace one of our aging water pumping stations at the water treatment plant dating back to the 1940s.

This pump station is critical to the City’s water system because it distributes water underground from the treatment facility to higher ground levels to provide gravitational flow of water in the distribution system that delivers drinking water to the city. This necessary station upgrade allows water to be distributed more effectively and efficiently. It also proactively addressed aging infrastructure and invested in water service delivery for years to come.

Kingsbury Companies received a Merit Award for the project from Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire and Vermont (ABC of NH/VT). Our Water Treatment Superintendent Marco Philippon recently accepted the award along with representatives from Kingsbury Companies during the ABC of NH/VT awards ceremony. He worked closely with Kingsbury Companies during the project to ensure that water service remained uninterrupted.

This project is just one of the many ways that the City of Concord continues to invest in water infrastructure and ensure Concord has continued access to the best quality of water at all times.
