The landfill has collection system improvements project included the expansion of the existing landfill gas collection system into recently filled areas and the active filling area of the landfill plus modifications to certain portions of the existing gas collection system. Construction included waste re-grading and the installation of horizontal and vertical gas collection wells and header pipes made of PVC & HDPE solid and perforated piping, fittings, valves, and stone trenching.
