Work took place in Monroe, MA at a dam that is used for the Town’s water supply to hydrants. Kingsbury removed an existing slide gate and thimble in the dam and install a new slide gate. Water from the brook was diverted into the overflow pipes using sandbags and sediment was removed from around the old gate in preparation for the new gate. The gate was lowered down into place and secured using anchors and then grouted into place.
